Reducing Physician Burnout

About Us

Staffing shortages and increased health system costs due to agency staffing all stem from the same cause, physician burnout and nurse burnout. Providers are leaving their jobs out of frustration. They are worn out. Those that are hanging on are desperately looking for relief. There is no silver bullet to reducing burnout however, a source of burnout that has been around for over a decade is the EMR. Providers spend as much as twice the amount of time behind the keyboard as they do in front of patients. The AMA is calling "fixing the EMR" a national imperative. The National Academy of Medicine sent out a call for a commitment from health systems to address clinician burnout.
Nebraska Medicine partnered with Redpoint Summit to solve many of these problems through the creation of a platform that leverages AI to identify EMR usage patterns and tailor the EMR experience for each user at scale through automation. We identify the clinician's EMR usage fingerprint via AI. With this unique fingerprint, we are able to identify patterns of usage and build streamlined workflows for each user. Redpoint Summit has the vision of healthcare simplified through digital transformations and the mission of reducing burnout, increasing satisfaction, and improving efficiency within healthcare through insight & understanding.
